This jump book depicts precisely 300 jumps executed by some of the most important people in our society – some I have known for years, others I have met for only a moment.

I must, therefore, apologize to the many illustrious and deserving men and women who were not given or refused the opportunity to jump.

In no way does it mean they were not worthy of joining the exclusive roster of jumpers. It only means that by some bad fortune, they’ve missed the chance.
